No, I didn't as english isn't my first language. Thanks for clarifying. Then, what makes you want to play that with me? It seemed like completely out of the blue random statment.

Well, I'm not a fan of Kopa at all as you may have guessed, but kudos for you for attempting to be original with a story about him. But as pointed out in this topic, the stoy has especially in organizing matters, a lot of room to improve because at this point it's quite confusing. But then you have said it's vey much developing at this point. (:

Most refreshing and best idea in my opinion would be not to force the book and film universes connect but just write a fanfic about Kopa simply where he belongs, without Kiara, Zira and co.

I'm saying it would stand out the best if you wrote it without any connection to the SP film. Asi if SP film never was made. As in forget about Zira, Kiara, Kovu and anyone and anything that SP film brought.

Every Kopa fan are trying to connect the film and Kopa and somehow theorize why Kopa isn't in the film. If you wish to stand out and make it really interesting, forget about the SP film completely.

But of course you write whatever you most enjoy writing.

I thought SP was OK and I wasn't bothered by most of the things you listed. I like the movie for what it is. Not for what I could have been.

And NOTE: I'm not saying anybody hated SP. :P
