What was atop of Pride Rock?

I noticed in TLK2SP, that at the very end of "We Are One: Simba and Kiara look at the tip of pride rock. Like the pictures below. What do YOU think they were looking at? ^^

They are looking at Pride Rock.

When Simba sings "We Are One," he turns to face Pride Rock, as much to say "the pride is one, Pride Rock is our home.. Pride Rock unites us" or something along those lines. That’s what I think anyway.

Kiara looks extremly confused though, she doesn’t seem to have a clue what Simba is talking about, lol.

I have to say that particular part of the song is really confusing.. I find it hard to interpret exactly what Simba means.

I always thought in that scene Pride Rock was the symbol of everything Kiara didn't want to be or become and what Simba wanted her to be and to understand. Kind of pointing to the throne, waiting for her in the future.

But to me, they are lookign at something else. It doesn't look like Simba is looking at pride rock. lol

For some obscure reason..I always believed that Nala was on top of Pride Rock waiting for them.

Now though, since becoming more enlightened and through several observations (YAY:D) there isn't anything on top of Pride Rock. Simba only motions with his head to it as it Pride Rock is a simple to the unity of the Lions. Which ties nicely in with the song ''We are one''.

There was another thread about something kinda like this ^.^ I'll transfer over my reply.

I believe that as Simba was singing the final line in front of Pride Rock Kiara was in awe of how easily and confidently he wore the role of leader, which was something she herself was confused and afraid of. Pride Rock behind Simba just increased this until Kiara might have had trouble putting her two images of Simba (fearless, flawless leader and loving father) together. Simba didn't know at first why Kiara was apprehensive, but then looked up at Pride Rock, which was the symbol of everything a leader was, and the symbol of everything Kiara had to be one day. He then understood that Pride Rock was maybe not the most reassuring backdrop he could have chosen for the final line. (though it was definitely an inspiring one) Then of course, he came down and became the father again, rather than the leader.
