Just a little thing that has been bugging me lately.
In the scene where Adult Simba, Timon and Pumbaa are in the jungle, lying in the grass, stargazing, Pumbaa says that he "ate like a pig," to which Simba replies, "Pumbaa, you are a pig."
Later in the movie, Shenzi and Banzai are about to eat Timon and Zazu (when they are trapped in Scars cave). Pumbaa comes to help them, and Shenzi says: "Who`s the pig?" This triggers a rather aggressive reaction in Pumbaa, who screams "They call me MR. PIG!"
...That`s just weird. I`don`t know if there`s some kind of reference there that I don`t understand, or what.. If Pumbaa is so upset at being called "pig," why didn`t he get mad at Simba when he called him that earlier?
Sorry if I`m nitpicking or being over-analytical, but this detail has really been stuck in my mind lately.
