Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance. As king, you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures, from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.

Simba, let me tell you something my father told me. Look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. So whenever you feel alone, just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you. And so will I.

The brave line. Big guy got some sound advice there. ;) It was a close run thing with that jazz about the stars though, that was rather a touching moment.

But yeah, this part of ze film was a more subtle way of dealing with cub naughtiness than, say... "Kiara, you are not to leave my sight EVERRR! And put on this crash helmet too." Haha, no offense Simba! Take a joke!

@Kal: Looks like that line is winning.

I choose it too, because out of all the lines (well, besides "AHHHHHHHHH") is the one I instantly think of when someone says 'Mufasa'.

I chose 'Look at the stars...' quote, for it is a wise and thoughtful speech, helped by the music that plays 'behind'.

"Simba, let me tell you something my father told me. Look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. So whenever you feel alone, just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you. And so will I."

Very hard to pick just one, but I went with this one because I adore that scene and that line is so meaningful.

It's got to be that "Look at the stars" line. That scene is one of my favorite scenes and I just love it when Mufasa tells about the great kings of the past.

"You have forgotten who you are and so have forgotten me. Look inside yourself, Simba. You are more than what you have become. You must take your place in the Circle of Life."
- I always found this part of the movie powerful and moving, even when I was a kid. By far my favourite. :happy5:

My favorite line is: "You have forgotten who you are and so have forgotten me. Look inside yourself, Simba. You are more than what you have become. You must take your place in the Circle of Life." because it conveys to the idea that we need to take our place in the world no matter how troublesome our past may be.
