Zazu did do a much better job watching Simba and Nala, even if he did lose them. Timon and Pumbaa lost Kiara after what...Three minutes? They didn't even make it to a musical number xD

As to why Simba kept asking them to watch his daughter? Most likely because they practically raised him, and that's got to be worth something. They kept him safe and got him to adulthood. Seems as though if they could just stop arguing with one another, they could have done a better job with Kiara. Then again, how would the story have progressed if they hadn't kept losing her? xD

As a random thought...Anyone think that Simba may hold a slight grudge against Zazu? Nothing strong, just asking out of humor. He could have remembered how "horrible" of babysitter Zazu was. Or the simple fact that him and Nala outsmarted him so easily.

^ Could also be that Simba uses Zazu for other uses, and replaces him with Timon and Pumbaa. Yes, the duo are worse than Zazu at keeping track of anything, but they are better than nothing, and I am certain that sometimes, Simba needs Zazu for more than babysitting.

It could also be that he's paying Zazu back for all the trouble he gave him as a cub by not having him do babysitting duty anymore.

@DGFone: Ah, I didn't think about him paying Zazu back. It would make sense that he would feel a little bad, now that he's an adult. He did get the poor bird squished by a rhino, afterall xD

I did remember that one scene from TLK where Zazu warns Mufasa of hyenas. With how overprotective Simba is in the sequel, it would make complete sense that he would be having him watching for threats twice as much, especially with Zira and her pride not too far away from the Pridelands.

Zazu cuz he is the most responsible of the three IMO. You shoud do a poll for that I think It'd be a great idea .
