As if TLK1.5 didn't have enough problems...

I recently posted a thread that linked to a summary of Simba's Pride. It was meant to be a reference for the trivia game on the TLK 1.5 DVD, "Who Wants to be King of the Jungle?" This paragraph is what prompted me to link to it:

I recently had the horrible thought that that some of the questions in the game might actually be based on the "information" in this particular paragraph.

And to my horror, my suspicion proved to be right. Here's two YouTube videos of a couple of questions from the game:

"Who is Serabi?" (at the 7:05 mark)
"The animals gather around Pride Rock to welcome who?"

And these are just two appallingly wrong answers. There may be several more that I haven't seen.

For the record, I haven't watched TLK1.5 (and don't plan to) and I don't own the DVD, so this stuff may be old news. Still, I think it's worth repeating.

Well out of all three films TLK 1.5 or TLK 3 was the weakest in the terms of good characters and a good story.

First off, thanks for finding my videos informing Akril. lol. Secondly, that first video was totally stolen by that User from my channel. lol. ^^ That's hilarious. Anyways, there are a few mistakes in the game that weren't mentioned in either of those vids, but I don't recall them at the moment.

lol, it's all good Akril. ^^ It just goes to show you that YT isn't quite as big as we might like to think. Either that, or I have just way too many videos floating around there. I'll definitely post again though if I can remember what the other errors were. ^^

How the heck could Zira be Scar's sister?! Is she really? I still haven't got my hands on the Tale of Two Brothers. I have only heard some facts told to be found in it but not this.

Since "A Tale of Two Brothers" and all of TLK6NA was written some time before Simba's Pride went into production, Zira and the Outlanders (as well as Kiara) aren't mentioned in the series at all.

The "Zira is Scar's sister" idea is a colossal mistake. Since the SP team went to great lengths to establish that Kovu wasn't Scar's son (since they realized that he would be Kiara's second cousin if he were), making Zira Scar's sister as well as Kovu's mother just creates the same problem.

Plus, if Zira really were Scar's sister, it makes that deleted scene with her fantasizing about being Scar's "loving, devoted queen" just a little bit icky.
