Well, in April we got a special offer about the show in Chicago! We picked the seats about eight rows from the front for $98. I was so excited and the months dragged on!
On the 9th, we took an Amtrak Train out of Holland, Michigan and arrived in Chicago after 4 1/2 LONG HOURS!

My mother and I dressed up and arrived at about 1:20. We gave them our tickets and walked around the beautiful theatre. Before the show, my mom bought me a picture book for $20, explaining that I had to have one.
We got our seats. There was only one flaw, our seats were on the right. So in some scenes we would miss a few details. My mother and I spent most of our time looking at the Playbill.
Here was our cast in order of appearance:
Rafiki- Brenda Mhlongo
Mufasa- Dionne Randolph
Sarabi- Tryphena Wade (also part of the ensemble)
Zazu- Tony Freeman
Scar- J. Anthony Crane
Young Simba- Jerome Stephens Jr., Kolton Stewart
Young Nala- Monique Lee, Madai Monica Williams
Shenzi- Monica L. Patton
Banzai- Omari Tau
Ed- Ben Roseberry
Timon- Nick Cordileone
Pumbaa- Ben Lipitz
Simba- Adam Jacobs
Nala- Syndee Winters
Jason Lewis filled in for the Stilt Giraffe specialty.
The whole show was pure magic, it exceeded my expectations! After the show, I bought a magnet, a $2 recycled bag, and a Scar Ornament. I was just in total awe, and I will try my best to see this masterpiece again.
However, one weird thing is that The Madness of King Scar was cut in half.
