Found this art jcpenny! On sale for $12! I think i like it better than the disney store plush. It's smaller but has a better shape.

That one looks almost exactly like the disney store one with a closed mouth to me

Like I said, it's pretty similar. It's smaller, has the closed mouth, and has a bit of a different shape. It's a bit stiffer as well.

Probably the same reason Jakks Pacific decided that we needed Machop before the Eeveelutions in their Pokémon range - Because they think they know what kids will want. But most companies make poor assumptions

the JCPenney plush is adorable!! definitely the first full-size Kion plush I feel enthusiastic about. something about the DS Kion just looks a little off to me.

i LOOOVE the Bullyland figures and would really like to be able to grab Kion and Fuli! Fuli's pose looks so nice. does anyone know anything about being able to get those products shipped to the US? I'd really love to get one of the Bullyland Zootopia figures as well....so any guidance is appreciated

At least this is a series, not a movie. So we should be getting a steady stream of merch for as long as it lasts, they have time to fix their mistakes.

But also I wonder, even though us older/die hard fans want Tiifu and Zuri, is that what the kids want? The girl lions haven't been very likable yet, just bratty background characters.
I watched a few videos from the just play lion guard set up at the toy fair, and all the kids were skimming over the Kiara toys and didn't even know her name. And that's KIARA, the main character of a movie and Kion's sister. I'm not sure that Tiffu and Zuri stuff would be well recieved by the general audience. Though they were also pretty unenthusiastic about Timon and Pumbaa and we get A LOT of merch for them.

i could see some time in the future us possibly getting a Zuri and Tiifu, maybe just not this season
plus, we have seen figures of characters who have appeared for one episode, so what are the chances for another Kovu, Vitani and Nuka? *waits patiently*

@Marrizle Yeah, you're right. At the end of the day, collector or not, it is just down to personal taste. Spend your money on what you like.

That JC Penney Kion is super cute! It ships to the UK too. Might just have to get that one.

And Sadiki, not sure about the Bullyland figurines being shipped to the US. It might turn up on eBAY but you know they're going to overcharge on there. We'll wait and see if there's an international option on the website, if not I'd be happy to help some people out (that is, if they come to the UK )

Good point, Nilla. It is a shame that Kiara is going ignored, not that I particularly like her, but I'd like to know that at least one female lead was getting attention. I think Fuli is pretty popular, though.
