Nice! St. Enoch's the best bet for me. I might convince said friend to take a peek tomorrow ;) I was so upset when they shut down the DS in East Kilbride, I used to love going there as a kid. I think it was one of the only reasons the place was even open to begin with. It's just all restaurants now.

Thankfully, since I'm still waiting for a confirmation date to start, I don't work right now. So I'm usually the one collecting the boxes/parcels. I just hate answering the door because I usually look a right state  The delivery guy normally comes when I'm still in my PJs.

I'm amazed by most of your replies... haha.
People who know Disneyland Paris, should know they hardly get *anything* first that was originally released in a US Disney Store.
So it's very odd that the UK Disney Store didn't get the merch first, but you all seem to know everything, so never mind.

What? We (or at least, myself) meant all the Disney Stores in Europe. DLRP has mostly park exclusive merchandise, that's why they don't usually get (or need) merchandise from Disney Stores in stock. After all, people are less likely to buy them from the park if they can buy them back home. Although I'm pretty sure what everyone meant was that the park didn't count as a regular European store :?

EDIT: Also, what Marizzle said at the bottom of her post! Your post just confused me a little :P

On another note, Amazon UK also have giant Ono in stock! There's also a new book called Sticker Scenes on all Amazon sites, but no image (yet).

Image is an Epic Mickey concept art. We could have had this in EM3. I still want it.

Nathalie, I'm not sure what your point is so forgive me if I've missed the obvious. I think you're being a bit unfair. I didn't think it was odd that the UK Disney Stores hadn't received the merch before Disneyland Paris because Disneyland Paris is a whole different ball-game. You're charging people a fee to enter the parks and pay an extortionate amount for merchandise, so it makes sense to have something good to offer, like merch that is currently only available in the US. We were complaining because the regulars Disney Stores across Europe hadn't yet received the merch despite it being long overdue (as made evident by several tidbits of information people have posted, like the importing issues.) We weren't gloating about any sort of knowledge, we were just looking for answers, that's all.

The reason I responded to your initial statement is because you made it out as though just about anybody could walk into Disneyland Paris and buy the merch, which is obviously not the case for anyone living outside of France or who can't afford to go to DLP. Yes, DLP has got the merch and that's great for those who can buy from DLP... but that's not a whole lot of the fanbase.

Also, re-reading your reply, there isn't one big Disney Store in the UK if that's what you're implying. We're talking about the individual Disney Stores scattered across the country, or even just the online store.

^ I feel your pain. It's so hard deciding what merch to get! I've told myself I'm only going to purchase the Disney Store plushies, but that big Kion is so tempting. I think I'm just getting excited at the prospect of actually being able to order decently-priced TLG merch.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm wondering whether to buy it or not. I'm going to try and get my paws on the CD tomorrow. Hopefully HMV will be my friend 8-)

First of all, if you're joking, it doesn't seem like this and, honestly, if you ain't, you may not realize your post can actually be seen as insulting.

Second, I don't think you really understood what many of us meant here. This is not a question of whether we know when Disneyland Paris usually gets their merch or not, nor are we stating, like you said, that we "know everything". I am sorry if I'm insulting you, but, based on the post you've just made, it seems like you're completely missing our point here. The thing is: Not everyone can go to Disneyland Paris. In a truthful way, DLP is not a public place, just like, for example, Lisbon's Disney Store is. I can't just walk into DLP and "go shopping" - I need to pay to enter. This, of course, excluding other costs, as I do not live in France.

Our discussion, right now, is exclusively about regular Disney Store's, that are accessible to most of the population, therefore, to "whole Europe" (Yes, I know there countries without DS, but, just like DLP, those are exceptions). We were giving our opinions on the odd fact most European DS's still didn't get the merchandise when, supposedly, it already should have. :)

I hope I didn't insult you, as that wasn't my objective. I just thought it'd be fair to clear things out. If that was sarcasm, I apologize, I'm awful understanding sarcasm, sometimes.

I'm the same right now, since I should really be saving for DS stuff. Although if I'm being honest, I'm more torn between giant Kion and giant Ono, possibly because I don't know how many companies will bother making a giant Ono in the future

Oh, and Follow that Hippo came out today! Has anyone got it?
