No luck on blind bags at Target today. Nothing at Walmart either. Though they did have some of the first run Tsums (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Stitch, Dumbo, etc.)

Also, yesterday at Target, they had the Little Mermaid Tsums from earlier this summer. So there's hope for TLK ones relatively soon.

Something TLG-merch-related this way comes... I know because of the additional £12 I've been charged in custom fees. :hmm4: Suppose this is the literal price I pay for being impatient.

I have a feeling it'll be my DS Kion. When I used my calculator for my Janja, it said I wouldn't need to pay anything additional. If it turns out to be Janja then I know I've screwed up when it comes to my caculations. Just can't get my head around it :?

Nothing at my Walmart up by school, sadly, but in a neighboring town about a half hour out there is a Super Target. If anywhere around here is going to have it, it would be the Super Target. If not, I'll head into the Twin Cities, which I think is where their corporate headquarters are, so hopefully a store around there would have some good stuff.

Thank God I'm visiting the US this year, so my friends are stocking up for me, haha.
Even when it comes out in Europe, it'll be more expensive too, that's how it always goes.
Same merch on the UK website is in some cases a lot more then the exact same thing on the US website.

^ I've actually never seen that happen with the US and UK website. I was curious about it when the TLG merch was first released. I started looking to compare prices with merch that was on both sites at the same time, and there was no difference in base price, i.e non-converted. What was say, $19.95 in the US was still £19.95 in the UK, or around that price. I think I only looked at the plushies though. I hope that doesn't change for the TLG line.

I've got my hopes up that Disney Store UK might make a TLG announcement on February 1st. Even if it's just a promo with the release date. :D

But is anyone sure that the Disney Store European stores are all "connected", in terms of the products they have? I'm asking this, because the Disney Store's in Portugal and Spain have already received the Zootopia merchandise, even online, while the UK website still has Zootopia in the "Coming Soon" area. Isn't there any chance this may also happen with The Lion Guard? :/

^ Am I right in saying that Zootopia will be released in Spain in February? Our release date isn't until late March. They'll be planning the release of the merchandise closer to the movie, which is why we'll get our Zoo merch at the start of next month. This may very well happen with TLG, should other European countries release the movie or series first. I think one of the questions we're faced with is whether Europe will release their merch with Return of the Roar or the actual series. I think once that is answered we could probably determine more about when we'll be seeing it.

^Yeah, Zootopia will be released in Spain in February, but Portugal also already has the merch, although it premieres in March here. The products that arrive in each Disney Store seem to vary according to the "grouped areas" (For example, Portugal&Spain and France&Belgium [based on the DS websites]).

Disney Junior Portugal already has clips promoting the release TLH: RoTR in February, but, based on the fact there's no merch yet, I'd say it'll be arriving with the actual series and not with the movie. :/

^ That's interesting... so strange how Disney decides when people get merchandise. And oh god, I'm really hoping it doesn't arrive with the series itself heh. I have no idea when that'll be premiering in the UK. If Return of the Roar premiered in November in the US, and the show two months later, we could probably judge that the UK wouldn't get merch until April or May... which seems so far away.

Then again, that two month gap could've been because the animation wasn't finalised yet. Europe could very well get the episodes quicker than the US did which means earlier merch. It all depends on what happens after RotR premieres, I suppose. :ocwap:
