Is this place over?

Nobody seems to post here anymore. There are a lot of spam users with spam links and posts all over the place. What is going on?

My best guess is that the TLK fandom is simply not as big or expressive as it once was and many of it's older, more passionate fans (those who were here since the forum's inception) have moved beyond the franchise and found other interests in life. As for the younger generations, they're mostly active in popular, contemporary social platforms such as Reddit or Discord. These types of old school discussion boards no longer seem to hold an appeal for the vast majority of internet users.

Hey, I'm here recently back and noticed that the account creation is not working for new users, so this might be a cause of less people posting. The forum might look cool but it also has to be updated with a more modern interface to more users to be able to understand where to post, where to create a new post, i'm here from a long time and still get confused where to create a new topic. I think in this year of celebrating the 30th anniversary things could change maybe? I don't know. But there's some good things coming for the movie anniversary! Let's just wait a bit

Happy to keep the site running as-is as best I can, but there's simply no chance I'd be able to dump the amount of time necessary to give it the TLC it needs.
