Little bit off-topic, but: Here in germany it's also that with 16 you are like "almost-adult". I think Europe sees the age-limits more realistic. I mean seriously I feel like they are pretty strict about alcohol (for example ^^) over in the States.

You can not buy alcohol or cigarettes until 18 in the UK, or vote. A lot of people class 21+ as adult in fact. And based on that, it makes sense to have it at at least 18+, not 16.

Wow, I didn't know that :/ maybe I'm wrong and You're right. And you really have to wait until you're 21 in the states to be full adult? I guess we are lucky then.
But I have to say, and it's been mentioned already, when you turn 18, it doesn't mean you become mature and behave like an adult.
You can still be childish when you are 25 but also you can be very adult in the age of 14.

I said no because I think it could get out of hand very quickly. What would we possibly want to talk about (based on TLK) that isn't PG? The thought is disturbing... If you want to talk to other people about 18+ things, I think you should do it elsewhere, not on a forum based on a child's film...

I totally agree with this! This is a forum for TLK fans not for anything else. We dont NEED to talk about things over PG. Who would want to talk about anything else?
