Chatroom Idea

That is a nice thought and I wish that was possible, but it just isn't. There needs to be something that can replace the chat box. I can honestly see the chatroom being dead, because of it being hidden. I understand what you guys have to go through. I wish to see a new solution come to light; though I know you guys may not have any ideas. I'm going to think a while on this and see if I can't come up with something to suggest. Though I feel there should have been an alternative plan before you guys removed it from the index page. I do thank you guys for the time and effort you do put into this site though.

Here is the way I see it: With the chatbox on the top, everyone have to see it when they refresh the main page. It is prime territory for spam and trolling, because there is no way to avoid it. But at the bottom of the page, you can choose to not see it if you don't want to by simply not scrolling all the way down. Made even better if there was a way to hide the chatbox completely.

What I am saying is that people were trolling in the chatbox because the trolling potential was just to 'good' for them to pass bye.

Lol I didn't even notice it was gone. After reading this topic I was like: oh, yeah....
I think it is better this way actually. Maybe it would have helped if we put the chat on e bottom of the index page. But lets face it, the biggest problem was that new members started spamming the chat with nonsense. We should bring the waiting time back (I believe it was 1 month?)
