MLK = web forum running on PHP. I doubt that what works in Minecraft will work in MLK, at least, I don't know anyone with the time or knowledge to try and port game code to PHP.[/quote]

Even if that is possible it would cause MLK and the server to constantly be connected and would result in server lag would it not? On top of that the players on the game would constantly be getting messages from people on the website.

lol MineCraft? Just an option to collapse the chat and have it hidden would suffice, along with an option to be hidden in the chatroom if you are hidden on the forum itself.
No need to over complicate it much more than that.

There was an increase in trolling/spamming and most of it was due to the addition of the chat being part of the board index. Sorry if you feel it is an bother but the chat does still exist via a link at the bottom of every page

So back to MLK classic huh? Well, the chatbox was worth a try. Pity the members didn't know how to use it properly.

I see it as the Chat room goes dead and all the drama, trolling, and Spamming will end back up on the threads, and posts.

Or we could just not be drama llamas, trolls, or spammers.

I wish that could happen Moka... but sadly we're all human (I think) and trolling, Spamming, and especially Drama will be part of our day to day lives... I wish there was a way to get rid of it, but I have to say that the chat room is the best way to get it out, and get rid of it, instead of having it on random topics and posts.
