LoL just because we are possibly having an adult area, does not mean only TLK (or even at all) is going to be discussed in it. It is a disturbing thought, and you are the one who thought of it.
The point is, you could discuss things like alcohol, smoking laws, political points, world issues, and all that kind of stuff. But the rules would not apply quite as much, and younger users would not have to see it, thus maintaining the family friendly approach, while still catering to the older users as well.

I GET IT, people want to talk about 18+ things, but why here? Why can't they just do it elsewhere? What if a minor pretends they are 18 and finds out about things that they are not ready for/scares them?
And I think that the fact that this site IS BASED ON THE FILM THE LION KING gives me every reason to think that people would want to (maybe) talk about 18+ things BASED ON THE FILM.

If they have a rule where only a certain age can go in then I feel like its also read at your own risk. Plus there are OFF-TOPIC discussions adults should be able to talk about. Flip has a point, Politics and whatever else may be going on in someone else's world. We aren't all children, but we all grew up watching the film. Why the adults can't have a place to chat about Adult things, is beyond me. Its a forum that can cater to all ages. Adults and Children alike. PLUS just because its a TLK forum doesn't mean we constantly keep our convo's TLK related. It would be nice to have a spot to chat about your life or get to know what goes on in your other friends lives.

Personally, I feel as though they are making this a bigger issue then it is. If Moka handles it correctly, has the 18+ age limit. Gives them a warning, I don't see why kids should even wander in and 'Expect' anything less then mutual conversation. No offense. But I dont think many will be talking about the whole 'Sex' topic, so what is the problem?

Plus if you listen to Music or Watch TV. Its not like those aren't 'PG' or truly clean anymore for our 'younger kids'.

No. The adult board can be hidden from guests.

We've countered most/all the arguments against the board so far... Obviously there are more pros than cons, so why not add it?

An adult board might be okay if it was to discuss around non-TLK related topics. If it's going to involve TLK based discussions then that's definitely a NO.
I'm quite skeptical about it as well as far as that there are going to be just 18+ members in it, any member could simply make a new account with a proxy and get in it, which is most probably bound to happen. At first I voted yes, but I'll change my vote to no. Simply cause this is a TLK forum, so if you feel like discussing adult topics and whatnot, I'm sure MSN/Facebook etc. with friends would be a better place for that.
