I really love the idea you've got, like we're being ''NEW MEMBERS ARE BAD AND SHOULD BE BANNED'', dude, all I'm trying to get is some regularization, and you're all butthurted ONLY cause you happen to be a new member and enjoy participating in these chats, that's it..

Now I tell you, Why do you think I'm being injust?, I mean, you REALLY think someone who just joined MLK DESERVES the privilegie to have a Q&A thread and a chatroom thread?, BTW, THERE'RE LIKE 10000 CHAT THREADS, AND SURPRISE!, NOT ALL OF THEM ARE ACTIVE, so why can't we just reduce these to 2 or 3?(notice I'm not saying we should get rid of ALL of these, just have less of them)

Again, I don't think you're taking my point seriously, so why should I do the same?, you're the one with the closed mind who won't see the problem, OR just doens't want it to be solved cause you'd be actually affected by it. Tell me, you really can't chat if there're less threads?, you really can't live without ths jsut joined member's Q&A?

All I'm asking for is new members to actually get these things deserved, not just have one cause you can.

I'm not even saying you shouldn't have one, since, sadly, you're a really popular member here, and hey, you've been here for what?, 3 months? maybe you think I'm talking about a year or two, all I'm saying is that those members who just joined the past week shouldn't have these threads, still, I think at least they could wait 6 months to have their own.

Also, SCHD and Tora need to both step away from their keyboard and take a chill pill lol. To be honest, I'd rather have spam threads made by new members than these types of thread where everyone TYPES IN ALL CAPS CAUSE THEY WANT TO GET THEIR POINT ACROSS. ALSO RAGE.

No absolutely not. You are just over obsessing about a harmless problem. If were talking about closed minded it appears you are closed minded. I have an open mind, but I fail to see anything you present worth changing my mind over. If there are 10,000 and 90% of them are dead then why are they even being brought up? Simply remove the dead topics. Why should a member have to wait 6 months to create their own topic? What gives you the right to deem what New Members deserve?

Tell me, you really can't handle there being more threads? You really can't live with new member's Q&A threads? All I am saying is if you can give me a good logical reason why all new members shouldn't have the right to make theses threads than it is impossible for me to see your point of view as being the best way.

Essentially, I think you guys are actually fighting over whether or not it's necessary to have a gazillion hangout topics that are all the same and serve the same purpose, but have different names on them. Is it strictly necessary? Nope. Does it clutter things up? Yeah, it does. But is it cool to be inclusive and let everyone have a hangout? Sure is. So it's just about what's more important to you. so in my opinion why don't we just have one hangout thread instead of 500

Underneath that is the question of whether or not you're cool with the way MLK is moving from a Lion King discussion board to a Lion King themed general discussion board (which is natural because longtime members can't talk about Lion King forever, we just run out of things to say). The more topics we have in OT, the more emphasis there is in OT. And SCHD does have a point. There is an increasing amount of new members going directly to OT because of the attraction of having a hangout thread, and that just adds onto the general shift towards chat and off topic. So it's also about whether you see MLK as more focused on Lion King or on the peripheral chat.

Problem still tho, dude it does harm if new members ignores the whole TLK part and just go make their HQ threads, I mean, it does harm, and even then, if it didn't shall we keep them only because of that?.. Still, I'm just saying, let's regulate them, let's have only 3 threads, why is this so bad?, again, you're prostesting only cause you're a new member who use these threads, and fine, maybe even less than 6, but still, I think you don't see it from the other side, you are like ''just go close all the threads that goes dead, but the mods are the ones in charge for that, not you, you're giving them an extra-job, close the threads of people who made a Q&A and chat thread and left the following month, isn't it really better to just prevent this from happening?. Talking about the Lion King is only a part of the forum. I have always saw it as a Lion King themed general discussion board and that is why I like this forum. Chat Threads and Q/A is not Spam. You don't participate in the chat threads therefor you closed mindedly deem them as spam. You're suggesting that the forum should be based on a totalitarianism rule in which the Mods/Admins designate topics for chat and say that you can chat only in those topics. It has nothing to do with me being a so called "new" member it's because I firmly believe all members should have the same rights new or old.

I've tried to make you see that in a lot of posts, yet you still haven't said anything about it, dude.. I never mentioned mods should designate these the way they want, I just meant that you should wait for a period of time before you can have these, ONLY cause this is not doing good to the forum, ok, go say it's harmless, but is it good?. Still tell me, you really can't talk in a thread made by the mods?, who's the closed mind one, the one who wants less pointless threads, or the one who thinks we must deal with it and have thousand of threads just cause it does ''no harm''

I think we'll all guilty of this. Me, you, Woeler, Tora, and probably 90% of all the members. If we didn't post TLK only and went straight to the "What are you thinking" or "Count to 35" thread, why should we make other new members follow these strict guidelines? Still, I like your idea about having some restrictions, but idk...

also, I'm concious of the way MLK is atm, and fine, is a general discussion forum, with tlk thematic, but hey, what about less talk and more DiSCUSSION? x)
