Brave (Disney/Pixar)

Postby AdAstrα » June 22nd, 2012, 9:32 pm

Didn't see a topic for this but if there is, please forgive me.

I just thought since Brave is officially out in theatres.....that it should have its own topic. Is anyone else planning to see this? Or has anyone ALREADY seen it? If so what did you think?

I'm very excited personally, although I'm trying not to have too high expectations on it in case it disappoints.....but seriously, I don't see how it could be really bad. It looks great!

I saw and what makes Brave truly special is that, even if it were stripped of its dazzling visuals, laugh-out-loud humour and dynamism, it would remain a clever, arresting and emotionally involving.

I absolutely LOVE Brave. (: I recommend anyone who's a fan of Disney and animated films to see it. The details are phenomenal as well, especially Brave's hair!

I love Brave also! I'm Scottish and it really made me proud of who I am, which isn't easy to do. I loved the bond between mother and daughter, it was alot like me relationship with my mum. It really made me want to do archery. x)

Wow, I'd forgotten about this topic. Having seen Brave now, I can confirm that is IS an awesome film. I didn't know what to expect in the end with the reviews being so mixed, but I personally loved it. Can't wait to add it to my collection of Disney/Pixar DVDs/Blu-rays <3

I saw Brave yesturday afternoon, since it's still in the cheap theater in my town (which gets all the movies that were pushed out of the 'real' theater, before they go to DVD).

LOVED it! The animation, the music, the scenery...All beautiful! I felt the plot and characters could have used a little more development, but I loved it all, nonetheless.

It's so good! She's so much like me (except I'm not very good at archery), and it made me see how dramatic and silly i was. It was just so good!

I LOVED Brave. I have only seen it once, although I'm sure it's time for a rewatch, but I LOVED it!

Merida is such a unique character, both in personality and design, so she was very interesting to me. The animation was fantastic, I was amazed at the beauty! Also, the music... SO BEAUTIFUL! I generally love Celtic stuff, so when I heard the music I fell in love. I'm pretty sure I know all the words to "Touch the Sky" by heart.

It's a beautiful movie. I really do love good moments between the mother and Merida because it reminds me of me and my mom : ) The music is beautiful, the animation is stunning and the movie has a more 'serious' tone that isn't played down by annoying comedy relief or pointless characters! I found myself laughing at some moments and tearing up at others.
