Now, NetFlix just launched in the UK, and they are offering a free one month trial (you cancel within the month and do not get charged, or not do that and be charged like £6 a month) Its actually quite good for what it is, but that is not the point here.
I noticed in the terms and conditions
"BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS YOU AGREE NOT TO BE ABLE TO SUE US AND GIVE UP YOUR RIGHT TO DEFEND YOURSELF!"
Sony have this as well in their terms and conditions, and like I was just thinking. I mean sure I agreed to it, but since when did it become okay for companies to do this? Its like saying "If anything goes wrong, you can not sue us!" I mean I understand that they are just protecting their selves but is it really acceptable that companies are allowed to do this?
Again, I mean its not really (that) big a deal for me, but I wandered what other people might think?
