While I usually don't find happiness in the death of others, he is good to have gone.

It might be good news in the short run, but you have to consider what this might do to North and South Korea. It's hard to say. This could really make things even worse. :/

I jumped with joy and exclaimed loudly when I heard about it. This monster is finally dead.

But yes, I became quite worried about it after my head cooled down a bit. His son will assume the throne, and continue the reign. The political situation could worsen.

My worry was kinda confirmed when I heard the national news here on TV. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xinwen_Lianbo) It said something like "the government deeply grieves for this great leader's passing away, who has always been our dear friend" and "we earnestly hope that, under the leadership of Kim Jong-un, the people of DPRK will continue the unfinished great political enterprise of Kim Jong Il" and worst of all,"his shining image will forever live in every Chinese people's heart." I know that this bunch of nonsense is due to many considerations, like the Communist ideology shared by the two countries, geopolitical consideration, and so and so. But it just feels so uneasy, reminiscent of the Ministry of Truth.

Anyway, I'm expecting the supposed Kim's funeral on Dec. 28. It sure gonna be a spectacle.

Kim jong ill's life review: He was a cruel bastard, foolish enough to believe he could be worshipped by his own people like a god. well, he certainly WAS one... Until his demise proved it wrong.

You can bet that they will have some story to explain it in a way that still keeps him a "god."

@StormySeethe can't disagree with that, in the way kim jong (mentally)-ill brainwashed his whole people who can't stop thinking about their pathetic leader óne single minute in their useless lives.

Yes he is dead and yes he kept his people away from the rest of the world and yes he lied to them and yes he caught people who were against him. But there is also another side of this story which many people don't know because the UN stereotypes this country because they have a large army and nuclear weapons.

In North-Korea everybody has a house, everybody has health insurance, everyone can go to school and university and everyone has access to clean water. Who pays for this? The government of North-Korea. He was a bad man, but not always. He cared for all the people in his country, and that's a thing in which I see some ''developed'' democracies fail these days.

He was a lier a killer and a psycho, but that is not all of the story.
