This is very thoughtful of you and I don't mean to sound mean, but quite frankly most of the earthquake survivors are struggling for even the basic necessities. They need food, water, shelter, and electricity more than anything else at this point. Most of them don't even have access to computers anyway. :/

I also heard this heartbreaking story of a group of schoolchildren aged 8 to 12 that have been stranded at their school since last friday when the tsunami struck. As many as 30 are still waiting for their parents to pick them up. I can only imagine how how confused and scared they must be feeling each day mommy and daddy fail to show up

Oh God, that's scarring.. I'd panic if my parents failed to show up in time, last time that happened in like elementary I was waiting for at least an hour and I just didn't know what to do.

Edit: Wait, does that mean.. their parents... died..? o_o

The saddest part is no one knows. Their parents could be dead, or missing and having no clue where to find their kids or how to contact them (phones don't work right now)

I also think it's amazing that the survivors are taking it so well. These children are sitting quietly and spending their time reading and playing games, but you can't deny that it's hurting them psychologically. I know if I was in that situation and was that young I'd be screaming bloody murder. o.0

Inorite? If this happened in America, everyone would panic.

And that's tragic.. at least the children are safe.. aren't they?

Did anyone hear about Japan got hit by another earthquake? This one was a 7.4 magnitude shock (in comparison, the original big one was a 9.0), it was just on the T.V, but it was very vague so I dunno if anyone has any information about it? Apparently though, there was a tsunami warning again along with it but the warning was lifted some time after, and the nuclear plant in Fukushima thankfully received no further damage...

Yeah, that earthquake was just one of hundreds and hundreds of aftershocks (I think it may even be thousands of aftershocks, I can't remember...) these 'aftershocks' are more like full-blown earthquakes than anything else. The one in Christchurch was a 6.3 and that caused massive damage.

That's just vile, and that coming from a sadistic person.. Japan is pretty much going to get economically destroyed, since nobody will want to buy Japanese products anymore because of the radiation D:

Funny how this earthquake happened so soon after the one in Haiti.. >.>
