My Little Pony x)

It's the first episode and I've been assured by multiple people that it's one of the best. We shall see... ^^

I like the songs (even remember the jingle from commercials circa 2001) but can't really get into the characters. I like that Spike dude but everyone else is sorta meh. Well, I'm only four minutes into it, I guess I should continue before I make up my mind x)

Also, I'm confused, does Spike's mouth act like a post office box? He blows it and it teleports. I can imagine him blowing out the candles of his bday cake and it going away somewhere XDDD

Also, is he a dinosaur or reptile or what? x)
