These things are real, as well are ghosts, do you think this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0P2Ih5eiuE Is false!?!? The guys completely DIDN'T edit the video, a boy ghost is standing against the Stonehenge rock, for sure, I can gurantee it isn't the sun light, my eyes are sharp, I know how a sunlight should shine, and I believe what I see. Hate me, bash me, but this is what I believe
That is so fake. At least, that's what I think. I mean, how are you sure they didn't edit the video?
I don't believe you can take pictures of ghosts or get them on tape.
I mean.. they are dead. It's like, they aren't living beings from the earth, you know. They're not even a thing. I think they are in a sort of other dimension or something, which is the reason you can't get them on tape or anything like that. That's what I believe.

No scientific evidence for their existance? Then I don't believe it!

There is use of science to prove their existence. Most spirits are said to be made up of "Electro-magnetic Energy" Ever heard of what that is? They create devices to try and capture substances made of this energy, infact, it's very rare to find that energy in other than spirits and the earth itself. Whether you say they're in another dimension or not, how are we then to feel and experience strange paranormal things of the unseen?

I believe this. AND NO ONE WILL CHANGE MY MIND.

Natalie, nobody is going to hate you for your beliefs xD In here, anyway.

I dunno about the scientifical evidence... I need more info about that.

EDIT: I found this on Google, it was... interesting. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Has_it_been_s ... osts_exist

I honestly don't know, why would spirits even long on earth and refuse to depart to an afterlife? I'm usually quite skeptical of such subjects... And I don't really trust TV shows or online video footage. I'm totally into ghost stories, though xD

I did a quick search...
Scientific Proof

The law of thermodynamics, if examined from a different angle, could prove that ghosts exist. Even if it cannot be taken as proof, it could give rise to a number of questions. If these questions are taken seriously and attempts made to find answers to them, we might very well come up with proof that ghosts exist.

What is the law of thermodynamics? Among the gravitational laws, this is the most significant law. A careful study of it reveals the fact that science has already proved that ghosts do exist. According to this law "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; it can only change form."

Let us now analyze this law carefully. Energy never dies, according to this important law; instead, energy shifts from one form to the other. Accordingly, the energy that we are is not destroyed by death; it just changes form.

Skeptics would say that our bodies would be decomposed by the action of the microorganisms, and this is how human energy would change form. But, what about the intelligence that gives us an identity? Just consider the amazing nature of our minds and bodies. Would all this just end up as being fodder for the microbes? Does this sound like a fair exchange? The more one questions, the more one feels that there is more to life than what meets the scientific eye.

The world of the paranormal will become familiar to us only if we keep a positive and open mind and study it. Instead of dismissing paranormal experiences as exercises of the imagination, we must get more curious about it and question it. Only then will great knowledge be opened to us.
This is interesting, but I don't see why energy would actually have conciousness. Conciousness comes from the brain. If the brain stops functioning, so does conciousness.

However...
Dr Parnia has previously studied near-death experiences. Two years ago his work was published in the prestigious medical journal Resuscitation. Dr Parnia’s team rigorously interviewed 63 cardiac arrest patients and discovered that seven had memories of their brief period of ‘death’, although only four passed the Grayson scale, the strict medical criteria for assessing near-death experiences. These four recounted feelings of peace and joy, they lost awareness of their own bodies, time speeded up, they saw a bright light and entered another world, encountered a mystical being and faced a “point of no return”.

According to modern medicine all of these patients were effectively dead. Their brains had shut down and no thoughts or feelings were possible. There was certainly no possibility of the complex brain activity required for dreaming or hallucinating.
This means that there's actually some proof of the existence of souls, which supports the idea of ghosts existing.

I don't know who wrote the big article, but that someone clearly has no idea what he is talking about. Physics indeed learns us that energy cannot be destroyed, however the human concious isnot energy. Our bodies dispose. The organic material rotts. Our body is not energy and it does not transform into another kind of energy. For material to be able to live it should consist out of these elements carbon hydrogen oxygen nitrogen phosphorus or sulfur. Electric energy has none of those and thus can not be alive.

Then about the neardeath stories,
people have had this idea for decades. The light on the end of the tunnel is a thing known by everyone. If faced by a near death experience the mind will bring back this picture, because it being the only reasonable thing the mind knows about this situation. We cannot explain the unthinkable, we can only guess, and the mind will do the rest. It is a state of dreaming and I think that is away more acceptable hypothesis then an afterlife.

I think believing is choosing the easy and the lazy way. Every event has a reason, find that reason and prove you are right. I think seeing ghosts is a state of dreaming. The problem is (just like the problem with god) it is an attempt of the human mind to explain something we cannot explain (yet).

Yep, I agree with your reply to the first article. I'm not exactly sure why would someone think energy is concious... However, the second article states that the patients were clinically dead. It was impossible for them to dream since their brains didn't even function. Normally, they wouldn't even realise that they're dead, because they wouldn't even have awareness.

The brin would probably kick in afterwards, when they are alive (again). Then it would try to explain what happened thus creating an illusion.
