The new episode was great. I really liked the moral at the end.

I thought it was a bit out of character for Fluttershy, based on the previous episodes. I found it hard to believe that she would be rude to her friends, when previously, she would stand up for her friends but not herself. Not to mention, why couldn't she have used "the stare?"

Well, she was trying to stand up for herself, but she was doing it completely wrong. The way she was told included being mean to everyone she met including her friends.
