Technically he is right now, but the way the electoral college works, the election pretty much hinges on Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Nevada, Colorado, and Iowa at this point. Romney pretty much needs all of those, and he looks behind in at least Ohio and Nevada currently.

TBH, I doubt that if Obama will win, the next four years will prove to be any useful. Congress is now dominated by Republicans, and their lead only increased with the current election, so the only way Obama will be able to do anything is through executive orders...
...which will always be eyed with suspicion and made sure that they follow the constitution.
Not to mention, compared to Obama's landslide in 2008, seeing how close things are now, it's a reflection on his performance. 2008? OBAMA! Now? Meh.

^I think if he were to be reelected, he will SHINE. But as DGFone said, his powers will be limited now that the conservatives won the House. AT least the Democrats won the Senate.
