1. I know it's not a very realistic expectation
2. Might not be very proper, but I still think it's worth a shot:

Considering Obama's speech that he made about people running the 118th Boston Marathon with more energy than ever...

What if he will run it too? That will be quite the bad*** thing to do.

Two more arrests have been made with suspects that may be linked to the Tsarnaev brothers regarding immigration violations and a supposed terrorist cell. (source)

As for the legal proceedings, should Dzhokhar Tsarnaev be given Miranda rights? Should he be tried as an unlawful combatant or as a criminal? Should he be given the death penalty under federal law or be given another punishment?

Allthough I usually don't support the Death Penalty, those kind of guys really ask for it. They kill people and believe that the Creator is satisfied with it. I don't know what I hate more...

Unless the US is ready to go down the dictatorship route, if they are US citizens, then we must try them as citizens and not as foreign combatants. Because as soon as they are found to be guilty...

I'm sure there are ways to make them suffer, more than if we just killed them off (which they might want, in order to be martyred), without breaking the "cruel and unusual" clause. Either way, as long as the guilty are punished, I would very much like to see the government follow the laws it set, no matter the emotions running wild.

Woeler wrote:The picture is actually quite stupid. Tens of thousands of people die a far more tragic and horrible death every goddamn day. Do they reach the news? Do they get all the attention? Do they get a speech by the president? Is their family supported by a whole country?

And people still believe everyone is equal? Stop fooling yourself.

Who is talking about 'fooling' oneself and equality? We are talking about a picture. A SMALL act of kindness. Are you upset that a third world country that experiences a lot of violence is being compassionate to a city within the United States (which you like you bash so much)? :P .

You are right, it is odd that some places get more exposure then others but if you want to make a difference and promote social justice, I suggest you do something about it. Join the Peace Corp or UNICEF or something.

Actually, I just choose not to get upset over something like that. ;)

Well if you disagree about my opinion then at least explain why instead of posting a reply that doesn't make sense. And if you wanna be upset, then go ahead. It's not like I'd care much anyway, lol.
