Do You Believe in Ghosts or Spirits?

I like the thought, and truly believe in it. I think the problem here is that the term "spirit" has so many definitions and meanings behind it that it creates confusion in broad debates like this. But I believe in the definition that spirit equates to soul, and when a person (or even an animal) dies, their soul lives on as a spirit. So yeah I believe in spirits.

Not that I particularly care if I "offended" you in this case, but we were still discussing spirits and the thread is about belief in ghosts and spirits. So really it did not go that off topic. If anything what you just wrote is more off topic than our discussion was, hmmm I wander if you just offended yourself?

The word "Spirit" does have so many meanings.
A spirited horse can mean it's lively, which is totally different to the spirit, or ghost of something/one.

I personally don't believe in anything that resembles someone in a white sheet going "oooOOOoOOOoo" OR any type of someone dead, getting back up and walking around in ghost form.
I don't believe that someone's spirit can be left behind after they're gone, but rather like someone else said...the teachings, ideas and memories they left behind.
I don't think the spirit of my favourite horse is wandering around with me, but I like to remember him and feel like he's stood with me and I'm touching his velvet nose again.

I don't believe in the typical belief of those beings crying and filled of pain who always are stalking to give us an scare, but I still believe there are... how to say it? beings? things? inexplicable events, strange things that happen, and usually are attributed to ghosts.

Yes, I believe in ghosts/spirits.
But, I'm not sure what exactly I have to believe.
In a way I just think it's the soul or anything from a human.
But, in another way I think it could be fake. And with fake, I mean like that it's work from the devil and he just wants you to believe that they are real.

I don't have a strong opinion. I've seen "proof" (videos, ect) of ghosts, but I don't quite accept it yet. However, I don't believe the religous spirits and that stuff. *votes Idk*

I've seen proof and had experiences, therefore I believe in both.
Experience;
I was walking through a burnt down building with a few friends, no one at the moment knew it was haunted. A whisper in my ear said "Save this building." and a hand touched my shoulder. I told my friends and we got out quick. Luckily there were is a forensic group in my small town and I reported to them. They have had many reports of others being touched, talked to, and seeing the ghost.

They did an entire camping trip in the building and went during the days too. There are video's on Youtube and they have pictures of the front of the building. The picture they published has a shadow in one window, of a man still working in the building. The other window has a picture of Bob Barber, one of three brothers who made this building called "Barber Paper Mill".

Story is 100% true.
