Animal Rights(especially in meat industrial)

You're right, it is better that we eat them. When an animal gets over populated, we slaughter them, so may as well eat them too!
I wish we could live without killing anything, but that's not going to happen. I love animals so much and I feel horrible for eating them, but atleast they're killed quickly and most of them are used (Dead animals are in most shampoos and soaps, even mugs!)

I saw something horrible from the racing industry in the USA today...I'm glad we don't do this in the UK!

WARNING THIS IS HORRIFIC AND BRUTAL Not for the faint hearted.

Oh, really? You must love animals really much then!! I don't mind eating them. xD I like animals, though. Not all, but most of them. I think animals are interesting and also cute. ^^

Awww, I don't really like horses, but I do feel sorry for them! D: That looks painfull..

It's the most painful thing you can imagine, all those horses that fell with die slowly and painfully. It's like forcing a baby to run, whipping it and feeding it steriods untill it can't run anymore and it's legs snap. Those things are only 1-2 years old, you're not even meant to put a saddle on a horse at that age!

I love animals so much ^^ I love each and every animal, even those I'm scared of (Like spiders! Eeek!)

Usually overpopulation is controlled by either introducing a new predator into the environment or through allowing game seasons. And while it does happen sometimes, it is not often that we outright slaughter species when they overpopulate. Also, a lot of the meat we eat is in a controlled environment so it would not overpopulate too much.

They should do that in the USA instead of killing the wild mustangs, introduce lions :D. They slaughtered over 300 dartmoor (or exmoor?) ponies over here, just because there were too many :\ They're thinking of 'culling' the badgers here too!

I really wouldn't introduce any more natural predators, it might mess up the ecosystem. It's all so delicate :P

Well, there used to be lions in America, for whatever reason they died out :P Barbary lions, they're called.

@phantomhive: Well you live in space...I'm surprised you can manage XD

@cherish: yes ecosystems are delicate but sometimes the introduction of a new predator (if done correctly) can fix overpopulation problems. It's a make-or-break kind of thing.

And there used to be all sorts of exotic animals in America but because of over hunting of large herbavores, most died out :P But we are getting off topic...Animal abuse sucks
