Do You Believe in Ghosts or Spirits?

If you say it is "borderline spiritual" then you are admitting that spirituality exists, and therefore so do spirits.
And I am not getting cocky with my posts, the title asked me if I believe in spirits so I am saying yes and backing it up with reasoning.

I don't know whether or not it is. I honestly think it's more optimism and good decision-making (unless they did bad things and you do so as well.) I'm not too savvy with this stuff. I'm sending an inquiry to KopaLeo

lol yeah but what I am saying is, where does the ability to make a good or bad decision come from? The brain is just an organ in the body right, something has to be enabling emotion, thought, memories etc...

It's just what humans created, IMO, bad and good decisions. Is this off-topic? Hm. I don't think it was given to us, I think we had the ability to develop it and we did. It'd be fun to research something like that. I, however, am more interested in dinosaurs as of now than anything else I think evolution would do a fair job of explaining that, as for as I know. That something enabling emotions and thought and memories... I'd have to research that before I even begin to debate.

I never really believed in ghosts or spirits.
I know a lot of people who do believe the fact that spirits exist and that some are able to feel them more than others though. I respect that and I really think it's comforting to believe that the spirit of those we loved are there to watch us but I just don't believe in that at all. =/

I really wonder if this is going to turn into a "Human brain, sensible world, intelligible world, human spirit, human soul.. ect" kind of topic (or debate). xD

No, I do not believe in spirits. I think when people say they feel them, they are a trick of Satan (this is my viewpoint as a Christian) knowing the deep desires of the heart. Most everyone wishes they could speak to the dead, however, it is just not possible. I also believe a lot of the spirit claims are illusions in the mind, out of fear, and expectations.

I'm the one that started the idea for this topic, and I thank La'Vie for putting it up. But you and FM just let it into a whole other discussion. I am offended to some point at that...but anyways, many of you may be wondering what's up with my current siggy. I enjoy their show, and I love their style of investigating. They collect some real good evidence, may it be actual spirits or demons in disguise.

for me, yes, I believe that ghost/spirits do exist, I always had believe that they exist, my believe of a ghost or spirit is that they are the soul of the people that when they die, they didn't found the way to heaven, that's my believe, i know that some of you have other theories or totally disagree on this one, but, as I said, that's what I believe

I used to, but not anymore. I've seen a lot of documentaries but everything just seems so obviously staged and fake. Spirits, yes, if by spirit you mean a soul. But I don't believe anyone exists on Earth after they die.

EDIT: Also, reading previous posts... I don't understand why would someone would believe in something just because they like the thought and not because they truly believe in it.
