I thought the new episode was great. I have no idea why everypony is saying they didn't like it.

I actually really liked Fancy Pants, too. I like how he was a rich, upper class guy, but he wasn't a jerk. In fact, he was wicked nice.

Review of the latest episode. Wow that was quick and i just finish my reviews with the two Rainbow Dash episodes. Darn you cable but oh well xD

Okay first of all, i liked Rarity, i thought she is funny, and intelligent, but she isn't my favorite character. Still she is a pretty cool character. Also i always thought the announcer well be Princess Luna herself doing her second job, however unseen. :3 It well be awesome to see her return once more. Anyway this episode is pretty decent, not the best episode, but so far its good to see how our pony friends are doing and all that stuff. Also the new character Fancy Pants, is cool to. Theirs not much male characters in the series sense all of the protagonist's are females, except Spike who can be the male main protagonist. Anyway i still think this episode is decent, its better then the last Rarity episode(which i found also good to but it was the weakest episode of season 2. ^^). Still the show well still live on to be the best of the best. That's all i gotta say about the episode for now. ^^ I hope i won't be spamming to much reviews on here.

I didn't like the episode because I thought it kind of worked against the message the show in general is meant to convey. :\

Also!

No Stormy. It didn't work against the message, just like all the other episodes don't either. What about the two Rainbow Dash episodes? Rainbow Dash needed some humility in May the Best Pet Win, and she got it. No holding back. And in episode 8, she was being too cocky. She saved a few ponies yes, but a hero doesn't have to brag constantly. Another lesson that Lauren didn't hold back in teaching. The same goes for episode 9. Rarity made some new 'friends' and some bad decisions, but in the end she learned that she had to do the right thing. And she did by sticking up for her friends. I mean, if you became inexplicably famous, I think you might make a few hasty decisions. But regardless, every episode is pure gold and always conveys great messages for anyone watching.

Plus...

The message/lesson is honestly the very last thing I care about in a MLP FiM episode.

While that is true, I don't think that the episode was as clear to the young'uns as it should have been (or at all, necessarily). Its intended demographic should be the ones able to understand the message, not only us older fans. While she seems to have learned her lesson, a lot of her lying and such went unpunished.

Well it has explained and teach stuff a bit, but you know i still think that the episode is good, not the best one though. Like PinkiePie said all episodes in the show are all well done. ^^ But yea i get your opinion on it SS. :3
