Your prediction on the future of the human race

You do it your way, I do it mine I guess. I certainly look at the world and see the problem as the greed and misguidance of a small number of powerful people, not the majority.

So why don't we test your theory? People on here: would you rather kill someone or love and be loved by someone?

I've been reading the whole thing between Azdgari and Woeler, and both bring up some fair points. I mean, I'm a dumb blonde and I'm not the most intelligent, but I believe that all humans have the capability to kill, to be greedy, to be cruel, and to love. And Az, I'd definitely want to love and to be loved, but say someone killed your lover? Would you feel that spark of revenge, maybe even to kill the murderer? Meh. I probably made no sense and made myself look like an idiot, but oh well.

You know woeler1, not everyone is bad. Maybe if someone killed a loved one I would get mad at them for quite a bit of time. But people can change; soon enough i would forgive them and give them another chance since everyone should have the chance to be forgiven.

^ So, if someone killed your mother/father you'd forgive them eventually? =/ Sounds a bit dodgy to me. I'd never be able to forgive murder.

It'd take 1000 acts of kindness after 3 years for me to forgive that. but yes i would forgive them soon enough.

Woeler1 wrote:That makes it look stupid. Killing nowadays has reasons. It is not like "kill or love". Killimg is in our genes, loving is in our morals. One is a physical thing, the other is imaginary.

I have to agree with Az on this one: Love is just as much in our genes as killing is. Both are just as physical as the other, and non of them are pure imagination.

3 years? So your loved one's life is worth 3 years and acts of kindness? Hmm...

I would also eventually be able to forgive the person I guess..
I mean, you can't bring your loved one back to life anyways.
Besides, we all have our reasons. I believe people who kills others for whatever reason either needs help or be understood. (I know this is not always possible)

Good point I suppose. Meh, that's just what I think, but I can see how people can forgive, but for me and many others, I think that the loss of a family member would cancel out any forgiveness you could have for that person.

So are you arguing that love doesn't exist? That's a longshot, even for you. Or that it's not powerful? Another lonshot.
