A huge earthquake in Japan

Yeah, this is awful. The world can be so cruel D: As for the people in Haiti, they're no better off than the people in Japan. Both places urgently need help, Haiti is a poor country, it will take years for them to get back up on their feet. But in both cases, we should do what we can to help them after these awful disasters.

I think they have lifted the tsunami warning because the earthquake was closer to land and smaller than the one before. I also heard there is not too much damage because Japan's building code is able to withstand this kind of earthquake. If I am wrong, please correct me

How much more do these people have to go through? Haven't they had enough? I'm praying for them every night. How cruel mother nature can be sometimes. :(

Pfft, I think HAARP did it. I don't believe an earthquake could happen so soon after the Haiti earthquake. Tectonic plates can't move that fast, can they? o.0 I truly hope I'm mistaken, because if it's true, then any country could be next.

HAARP? Srry for being a noob but what is HAARP?

And it really could if you think about it. I don't think it should have happened, but it did. Kind of... unrealistic. Ugh it's just so sad! Mother nature really hates japan, doesn't she?

HAARP is the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. In basic terms, it shoots signals into the ionosphere (which is one of the spherical layers that surrounds Earth and allows Radio Transmissions like GPS). It was designed to test the effect of signals within the ionosphere to improve GPS and such stuff.

Anyway, there is no proof that it was involved (though none to say it was not). But it is worth remembering, Japan is among the most common places for Earthquakes, because it is positioned right a top of tectonic plates, they get quakes every few days and this just happened to be one of the bigger ones.
