Not only that. Warner Bros. also pulled a trailer from their upcoming movie, Gangster Squad, which included a scene of mobsters shooting at moviegoers in a theater room from behind a movie screen. Is this some kind of coincidence?

Well, anyway. I heard about this when I first woke up yesterday. My condolenses go ou to the families of the victims, and may the 12 people killed rest in peace!

Now, I wonder what the fall out will be. Will policemen have to do pat downs when we enter the movie theaters like they do at the airports?

You know, and the messed up part is it wouldn't even have helped even if they had, by accounts he left the theater through the fire door to go fetch the stuff, it wasn't even like he had the stuff on him when he tried to get in. And it's not like the theaters can lock the fire door or that kinda defeats the purpose.


And you know what, as stupid this sounds, my heart goes out to the Batman fandom, too. We all know the power of fandom. It takes you away from the real world for a while and gives you an escapist place to play and return to in what's assumed to be like-minded people.

They shot a 4 month old baby.. but in his defence, what was a 4 month old BABY doing at a 12 c'clock premier.
This is in sense the most wrong thing I've heard in a while. How could he just DO that, WHY would he do that.

Two of the people killed were from San Antonio. One of them was an intern for our hockey team last season. A bunch of my friends knew her pretty well. We're all in shock about the whole situation right now. Theaters around here, and elsewhere, are banning costumes at showings now.

I don't pray, but my thoughts are with all of the victims and their families.
