I didn't see a topic about this so I think I'll make one.

The most disturbing movies I've ever seen is The Human Centipede 1 & 2.

The most disturbing movies I've seen so far are:

*Psycho (1960) - The shower scene scared the hell of me, and still does whenever I watch it. Plus, Norman Bates is a creepy villain, and the last scene when he smiles when he is his "Mother" confirms it.

*A Clockwork Orange (1981) - The rape scene, violent scenes, and the scene when Alex DeLarge is given the Ludovico technique is gutwretching.

*The Passion of the Christ (2004) - The scene when Jesus Christ is being beaten by the Romans is the most violent movie scene I've seen in all of my life. Also, the scenes when Jesus is being crucified, and stabbed is very graphic.

*Fatal Attraction - Glenn Close's character is psycho, and the scene when she tries to kill Michael Douglas's wife with a butcher knife is horrifying. Her death scene is very graphic, too.

Saving Private Ryan.

We watched it in class years ago and I had to leave during the opening scene (I think) because I actually felt sick. The movie itself is a good one, just very graphic in the beginning.

I don't find scary films scary :(

However, you should all see "The Pledge" it's quite a slow movie, but my god, the end blew me away. SO unexpected.

I'd agree but on 2nd thought; human centipede isn't that bad, it's not disturbing it's just repulsively gross.

Oh God, not that movie...

Passion of the Christ - I don`t even know WHY I ever saw that movie, as I have serious issues with whipping/flogging.. a scene like that comes up in a movie, and I leave the room. Cant explain why.

Sleepers - this movie had a very strong effect on me as I was quite young when I watched it for the first time. I have seen it again years later, and did not find it as disturbing as the first time, but still..

Human Centipede - I have only seen one.. there`s a second one? wtf

Let's talk animated. Yes, Animated:

FernGully (1992) - I do remember when I was younger and saw this, Hexxus' final form (film's villain) near the end, gave me nightmares for weeks!

This will always be an unpleasant scene for me to watch in an animated movie.

*After seeing this movie again within the last 4 years, I still think this is a good but under-rated movie though*

Caligula. A late 70s movie about an insane roman emperor who tortures, rapes, and kills his own people.

Even just mentioning this movie on a Lion King forum might put me in danger of getting banned... (which I hope not).
