This is a book series I've been a fan of for quite some time. For those who don't know, "Dinotopia" is a series of books (as well as a TV movie) about an island where humans and dinosaurs live side-by-side. Here is some art from the books:






For those wondering how the humans and dinosaurs are together, it's because, in the books, when the event that killed off the dinosaurs occurred, they took refuge in a series of underground caves. Later, humans were shipwrecked on the island and became the ancestors of the island's human population.

Yeah, it's an older series. You might have to try looking online. You can also find more pics and stuff at dinotopia.com.

**Gasp** I looooove Dinotopia!!! My dad has copies of the books and he used to read them to me:). It would be a fantastic place to live, only I don't think they'd like me very much, lol. I have a tendency to live to eat, not eat to live, which I'm sure is something they'd frown upon

OMG! I really, really, REALLY want to read the books!
Mainly because I love dinosaurs and I'm already a HUGE fan of the TV movie/mini series
I love the Code of Dinotopia, the characters are amazing (I love Zippo and 26 lol) and it's just so out of this world that you can't not love it!!
I'm hoping one day I'll be able to get my hands on the books!
