It's actually quite sad seeing how she has turned out. I was watching The Last Song a few weeks back and she was so sweet and young. Fame really does change lots of people. Not for the good reasons either.
I agree. I not a fan of her and stuff, but I do wish she could've pick a different kind of "image" for herself, but not THAT explicit.

@flip I was talking about Wrecking Ball, not the VMA's, yes i agree that her performance there was inappropriate for the setting and that she should have known better, but i was talking about wrecking ball since the two previous messages had been,,, oop

nalasimba83 idk i feel like you're being really harsh on her, i understand that your idol has changed from what she was and you dont like the direction shes going in but i mean its kind of harsh to call her a disaster and something disgusting, its probably something she'll grow out of anyway idk
she probably just wants to go in a different direction I d k enough about miley cyrus to even. idk

Oh.
But you still need to watch or hear something before you can know you don't like it, though.
i thought this site was to meet each other and express our thoughts...
Technically this site is to discuss The Lion King, but oh well.

Anyway, you're right. We are allowed to express our thoughts but that goes out to everyone. You may like Miley Cyrus while others don't.

Personally, I don't even care anymore... Not that I really cared about her in the first place, but at this point, I don't care what she does with her life. It is her life, her decisions and it appears she's out to prove that.
I do think that she was good in The Last Song, which was a beautiful movie. However, since the days of Hannah Montana she has changed. Perhaps she has changed for the worse, but the fact is she has changed. If there is one thing we can expect in life is that everything changes. There will come a time when she changes again and you may or may not approve of it, but it's her choice.

Fans may be disappointed in her now and may be declaring that they feel personally victimized, upset and angry, but the thing is... you can be a fan of a person without them being perfect. If you liked her in Hannah Montana then remember her that way. You can easily say "I am a fan of Miley Cyrus, and while I don't like what she is doing nowadays, I am a fan of her earlier work and I will remain a fan."

I honestly think that this whole thing is going to blow over. She may be the biggest thing happening right now, but remember when Britney Spears shaved her head? Yes, of course you do, but no one's talking about it now. Give it a few years and there will be other things to talk about. No one will even mention twerking or nudity.

And as for the nudity, twerking and whatnot. She is trying to breakaway from the innocent image she once had, which is something we all have to do someday. Perhaps some of us won't do it as drastically, but it will happen. There have been pros and cons to Miley Cyrus pretty much already being famous as a child since she's Billy Ray's daughter. It has helped her move forward in the business, but also there have been downsides like the paparazzi, people judging her, etc.
Some people can't take it and react in their own way which is often frowned upon by the people who look up to them and the people who look down on them. But either way, it's their life and their reaction.

Miley Cyrus' behaviour doesn't personally affect my life in any way. Therefore, I don't really care what she does with her career. The fact is, it's not like this is going to end her career. She is still famous and has tons of fans who adore her. She'll be around for a long time and she will be doing whatever she wants. So let her! She's an adult, she is in charge of her own actions now.
