Overrated:

Top Gun- To much pointless action, didnt really care about the characters.
Any superhero movie except the Batman franchise- They are to predictable.
Quentin Tarantino- There are probably many who like his movies but I dont

Underrated:

Non-english language movies- Here in Sweden, the majority of movies shown is in english, I think it is sad because there are a lot of good movies out there that is not in english language. The movies with Louis de Funes are really great.
Atlantis- Lovable character, great story. Why do so many people hate it?
Treasure Planet- Same as with Atlantis
Megamind- Really orignial, enjoyable movie with good acting.
All dogs go to heaven 2- Many people seem to dislike it but I really enjoyed it.
Until I'm home, I'm on a distant road

Overrated:
The Harry Potter Movies - I do like some of them, but I remember the uproar when DH2 didn't get nominated for Best Picture at last year's Oscars. Come on, really? I prefer the books.

The Hunger Games - I never saw this at the cinema, but heard a lot of good things about it. When I finally saw it though, I felt a bit cheated because I didn't think it was as good as everyone had said :/ I did think it was good though.

Underrated:
THE POST LION DISNEY RENAISSANCE - So many people I know have seen Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and TLK, and then after that they haven't seen the others. As a firm believer in the 1989-1999 renaissance (not the 1989-1994 one) these films deserve far more recognition, and while they weren't financial failures or anything like that I feel not enough people appreciate them for the works of art that they are :)

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - I was incredibly moved by this film (being in an extremely delicate emotional state when I saw it) but since it only had a limited release not very many people saw it. I implore you, go buy the DVD! You won't be disappointed.

The Plague Dogs - An absolute sob fest, but yet another film that has changed my life. You can watch it on youtube, but be warned that it is probably the saddest film I've ever seen, and it's very scary/graphic at times, even though the fact that it is a cartoon can be deceiving (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084509/par ... tt_stry_pg)

Felidae - Another graphic cartoon, though this is definitely an adult film. I'm pretty sure you can watch it on youtube (originally in German but english dubs are available). I love this one so much, more people definitely need to see it :)
