The Hobbit (May contain spoilers)

I was discussing this with Will earlier. Yes, there will be a special edition for sure and I think there will be a few added scenes, but not so much as Lord of the rings. I definitely think they will do various commentaries (There are atleast five on my current dvd's) so there will more than likely be many commentary options aswell as hours of bonus features. I still haven't watched half the bonus documentaries on my dvds xD

Haha I got the extended versions last week, and so far I've watched Fellowship 3 times (normal, cast commentary & Peter Jackson & writers commentary) after a week I still haven't got on to the documentaries! :D

They are good. I love a good commentary where it's obvious that the people involved really enjoyed their work.

Billy and Dom make me laugh so much in the commentaries, especially their constant micky taking of Bloom. Hehe, tig.

Just got back from watching The Hobbit. That was a pretty epic and enjoyable film. I'd seen a few reviews that said the story had been stretched too far and dragged a bit, especially after the last minute decision to go from 2 films to 3, but all the added bits seemed to make perfect sense to me and the film didn't drag at all. Quite a different and less serious tone to the LOTR trilogy, considering the same writing & directing team, but that's no bad thing and after all The Hobbit is a very different book to LOTR.

Pretty good stuff. I'd give 10/10 and look forward to part 2 next December.

I loved the hobbit! It was a 5-star movie in my books. I never actually read the book on it, but i loved it! But i really want to see the next movie. I just got to know what happens!

I loved The Hobbit ^^ Although I'm not the biggest fan of LOTR, I've seen all the movies and loved them ^^ The Hobbit was amazing, although I was tired out after 3 hours xD

Not looking forward to the 3rd movie, it will be far too sad!

Spoiler: show
when Fili, Kili and Thorin die!

Another Fili and Kili fan, along with Thorin and Bofur. (Seeing as I love Bofur's actor, James Nesbitt)
Re-read the book and it's a great film to go with the book.

I can't wait to see what they do with Beorn.
