Journey is, about 2 hours long give or take. And is one single level. You start off the game walking up a hill in the middle of a seemingly never ending desert, reaching the top of this hill you see in the distance a glorious mountain peek in the far, far distance. You are not told to find this mountain, you just "know" that your are supposed to be there. It is like it is destiny, and indeed it is revealed later that it IS destiny.
You see, you only have a few commands at your disposal, you can walk, jump small distances and that is it.
Throughout the game though there are obstacles, you must find a way to reach the top of an impossible looking climb, the wind may be against or with you causing you to change your route.
It looks absolutely incredible and the story, though there are NO spoken words, is incredibly deep. Essentially the "Journey" is a symbolism for life, throughout the two hours trek you experience emotions that we experiences at different points of life. learning, hope, awe, joy, sorrow, companionship and death are all experienced during the Journey to the mountain top (symbolism for life being a journey into heaven / afterlife)
Whatever happens, if you have a PS3 you owe yourself to sit down and play this, start to finish. It is an incredible piece of art so much as it is a game.
