Now that I think about it, PBS had by far the best kids shows. :thoughtful2:

Don't know how I stumbled upon this topic right now.

But the first pre-school show that came up in my mind right now was "Blue's Clues". I remember one of my sisters use to watch it a lot when Nickelodeon channel still showed it in the mornings back in the early 2000s.

What was really funny about this show was when I was in summer camp (back in my growing up days), one afternoon, they were showing an episode on the TV in the art room. Every little kid in the room like me who was sitting on the floor and watching it was screaming every minute: "A CLUE! A CLUE!", "IT'S A CLUE!", "THERE'S A CLUE!"

And the art teacher got mad :yap:

Oh gosh...Let's see...

I loved:

- PB & J Otter
- Blues Clues (before Steve left for 'college')
- Bear in the Big Blue House
- Little Bear
- A live action Cat in the Hat show (didn't last long, from what I can remember)
- And...Another show I can't remember the name of T.T It had a lemur, and was based on a bunch of zoo/wild animals.
- Barney (ugh...I'm not proud of that one xD)
- EVERY cartoon on Nickelodeon and Cartoonetwork
- Kenan and Kel
- All That! (the original and the one with the new actors)
- Pokemon
- Classics like Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes (plus a little of Popeye)
- Animaniacs
- Tiny Toons
- Yu-Gi-Oh! (original season)
- Beetlejuice

What I Sort of Liked:

- Stanley
- Dora the Exporer (first season)
- Little Bill
- Clifford
- Arthur
- Sesame Street
- Dragon Tales
- Jetsons
- Flintstones

What I Hated:

- Pretty much everything else...Aside from what I can't remember.

I just had a massive nostalgia trip. I'm bound to remember more, so this list might get edited.

Arthur
Tom & Jerry
Scooby Doo
The Flintstones
TaleSpin
Goof Troop
The Little Mermaid series
Timon & Pumbaa
Johnny Bravo (I loved most Cartoon Network shows tbh)
That Jungle Book series when they were all little

I used to hate Darkwing Duck, Ghostbusters and "Turtles"...my brother watched those all the time and it drove me crazy.

When my sister came along I watched a lot of "baby stuff" with her that I also hated. Teletubbies.....*shudders*

My childhood shows were mainly...

Moomins (or Mummitrollet in Norwegian)
Pokemon
Clifford the Big Red Dog

I think those are the main ones. I watched several, but those were the ones I liked the most.

I spent time growing up on both sides of the Atlantic ocean, so lots of the shows I've watched are ones my friends here in Ireland haven't. It's also worth mentioning that although I was born in '96 lots of the shows I watched are typically "90s kid" ones.
I will just list as many as I can remember (with wikipedia's help)
Arthur
Barney and Friends
The Big Comfy Couch
Sesame Street
Bernstain Bears (spelling?)
Zoom
Between the Lions
Bear in the Big Blue House
Zooboomafoo
Winzie's House
Out of the Box
PB & J Otter
House of Mouse
Jungle Cubs
Duck tales (to a degree)
Clifford the Big Red Dog
Dragon Tales
George Shrinks
Magic School Bus
Mister Rogers' Neighbourhood
Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat
Timothy Goes to School
Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse
Wishbone
Caillou
Rolie Polie Olie

The shows I watched when I came back to Ireland were either the same as above or not "Little" kid shows.

I remember when playhouse disney was a programming block on disney channel and not a seperate one. It was on right before toon disney and my sister would barge in from school and we'd watch the Timon and Pumbaa TV series.
I miss those days
