Donkey Kong Country
I remember the strategy guides. Not only were they helpful, but they were fun to read (Unless, of course, it was a hard level and the page didn't have much information).
I had the first ever "Bradygames" guide. They had some 90's hip capped teen named Brady talk about the game throughout. Had to throw it out recently because it was deteriorating

For sure I remember of DKC, super great games. I remember the first I played those games I was something like 4 years old, and I was immediately addicted to the games

Aww, I love Donkey Kong <3 Owned all three on the SNES and as soon as they became available we downloaded them onto the WII. Brilliant, though at times frustrating xD

What was the hardest level for everyone out of all the donkey kongs? Mine was the level before Capt K Roll in the third one x_X When everything was backwards on the controller. Argh, the annoyance!

Mine was the level in DKC 2 called Castle Crush (the one with the constantly rising platform).

I am a massive fan of the Donkey Kong Country game series. In fact, they are all up there among my all-time favourite video games.

The graphics are gorgeous, music epic, controls easy to grasp, and I love the way it's challenging as you go on, there's always like a unique challenge you need to master in each level later on in the game, and, I like that. It keeps you coming back for more until you master it.

Oh, and I must say: I am a -huge- fan of Diddy and Dixie, I collect any Dixie memorabilia I can get my hands on :3

I have so many fond memories of these games. The original DKC was the first video game I owned, and I still have working original copies of all three that I play from time to time. I've found everything in all three without using strategy guides which took so much time that I pretty much have a lot of the levels memorized at this point.

As for the hardest level, it's by far Animal Antics (the last Lost World level in DKC2) for me. The part that requires you to fly Squawks through the windy brambles can be downright maddening.
Come death. Come suffering. I will not live in fear. In this fleeting life where time escapes us, the path of least resistance is a slow quiet death. I'd rather burn out than fade away.
