One of the worst games I ever played:Cyber-Cop

At first glance, it looks really amazing because of it's 3D graphics... Well I hate to say it, it's the exact opposite. This game is so confusing it is not even funny. It's this bizarre first person shooter/RPG hybrid, and it just does not work out (style over substance right here, folks!). Plus all the walls and textures look the same! Except for the floor and/or ceiling being a different color on other levels. You play the role of one of 6 secret agents (wait, if I'm a secret agent, then why is the game called CYBER-COP?!) who must infiltrate the UCC (Universal Cybernetics Corporation) headquarters and steal an embryo according to the game's introduction sequence, but it doesn't give you any indicators or any hints or anything on what the **** to do. You have to update your security access level on a terminal on each new level you gain access too, then when you get the embryo you're supposed to collect, you have to go to the car park on the ground level and then you win the game. There's no walkthrough or anything on GameFAQs either except for this password which gives you access to all levels (like it really matters) and a bunch of items. And then there's the music. There's just ONE tune that plays throughout the entire game (composed by Matt Furniss, who I think is one of the best game music composers to come out of the UK). Yeah, true, it's not that bad, I've heard worse, but after it repeats for the 5th or 10th time, it starts getting on your nerves!! Here, see for yourself:

I beat this piece of crap recently.

The thing about tech-demo games is that as far as the "game" part is concerned, it is usually sacrificed in favor new technology and graphics. So if you want to play a game considered ground-breaking in graphics, prepare for it to be bad unless it's new, at which the game has visuals to distract you from mediocre or worse game-play.

But if it's a really old ground-breaking visual game, don't expect much or anything from it.
