Battlefield 3

We press play, don't press pause.
Progress, march on.
With the veil over our eyes,
we turn our back on the cause.
'Till the day that my uncles can be united by law,
when kids are walking 'round the hallway plagued by pain in their heart.
A world so hateful some would rather die than be who they are.
And a certificate on paper isn't gonna solve it all,
but it's a good place to start.

Anyone else finding this somewhat disappointing? It is really not as great as I was hoping it would be... =/
If you're talking about the console version, I agree.
If you're talking about the pc version, you are crazy!
Lol. EA convinced me not to get it (I wasn't planning to either way, but whatever). I just got an email titled "Battlefield 3 PC system requirements". I knew that it was another add for BF3, but based on the email title, I thought that they changed the requirements, maybe even lowered them. Could be interesting.

I click on the email and all it tells me is that "Battlefield 3 requires the latest version of Origin. Get Origin now!". Yeah... I was not amused. Since when did EA start lying in their own emails? If you title an email "system requirements", I want to see, you know, some system requirements.

Nice job breaking it, EA.

That would be a system requirement, though.

^ Last time I checked, Origin is one program, and therefore would be a system requirement, not requirements.

Oh, so specific. :P Maybe it was just a slight flaw in logic, or a typo?

Just checked the email again. Yes, it says very clearly, requirements.

But in the end, the deciding factor of why I will not get it are the graphics. Most praise them. But I see the horrible LOD. I can't stand LOD. Don't like trees that grow entire branches when you get closer to them.

I wasn't impressed with the beta. Played 3 matches and decided it wasn't even half what I thought it would be. Maybe I'm just spoiled after playing MAG, but it just didn't seem all that fun to me.
