Insects are animals lol they simply don't feel things or as intelligent as the common depiction of an animal. Don't believe me, look it up they are animals xD

^Interesting, but also irrelevant. He is still basing it off the idea that you are taking a life, plants are also living things so my point still stands.

Mm? Yes, just trying to clear that misconception up, it bothers me ^^

For once in my life I don't agree with Baya's opinion :P Killing and insect/plant is very different from brutally slaughtering a cow with it's nervous system still in tact.

Depends on the plant. If you're eating seed-bearing fruit, all you're doing is eating the reproductive organ of a plant and leaving the rhizomes/leaves/main body alone. Harvesting leaves damages a plant but doesn't outright kill it unless you take them all. If you're eating tuberous plants (plant roots) you're killing the plant. You're a plant murderer.
