My first recommendation I'd like too add is Blind Guardian's new album "At The Edge Of Time."
It seriously is an amazing album, very powerful, and very emotional at points. It's like watching all the great scenes in Lord of the rings on loop about 20 times. It's seriously like my new alltime favorite album.
Spraynard - Captain We're Sinking E.P., and Cut and Paste. This is a new band, formed last year, that I heard about through a local band. They seriously have got some raw power in their songs. I'd highly recommend giving them a shot.
Smashing Pumpkins - Teargarden By Kaleidyscope, it's only like 6 songs now, but this is SP's new album, which is planned to be like 44 songs. So far, it's an amazing album. Their releasing the songs as they finish, and I'd definately say you need to check this one out. The songs are up for free on their official site.
Who killed amanda palmer - Amanda Palmer - an amazing album from like 2008 or something I believe. It has a very soft sound with some fast parts too it, not too mention palmer is one kickass vocalist.
The Fame Monster - Lady Gaga, this girl might be mainstream like no other, really, but she is one amazing singer, and she also knows how too put on an amazing show. Definately a recommendation from me.
Strait outta compton - N.W.A, seriously one of the all-time greatest rap albums ever produced. Everything fits so perfectly.
one more. Nirvana - Nevermind. If you haven't heard this album then eigther your head was in the gutters in the 90's, or your from the new generation and have yet to be exposed to Nirvana. Just a heads up, nirvana is an amazing band, and too this day, even though I've heard all their songs a million times, I still find the songs catchy, and so filled with raw power, and emotion. Their songs feel as if your actually looking at a chunk of their life through the strumming of a guitar, and the insane druming the bands produced. Seriously, listen too this, and if you like it, get Bleach.
All these bands have kept me interested up too this point. Feel free to recomment to me back.
