Favorite Lord Of The Rings Movie/Character?

I love LOTR! One of my favorite trilogies ever. The Two Towers is my favorite of the three and Merry&Pippin and Legolas are my favorite characters. What about you guys?

Gandalf, Smaug, Thorin, Gollum.

Yes, I know Smaug and Gollum are antagonists, but their still both awesome characters. Smaug is only in The Hobbit though. I like Thorin mainly for his storys of his father. Gandalf is an obvious one, lol, he's like the Dumbledoor for LOTR.

For the movies, it’s a tie between Fellowship of the Ring and Return of the King.

Favourite characters: Gandalf, Pippin, Aragorn, Faramir and Eowyn.

Frodo and Sam are my fave from both, the book and the films, but only together. It was their friendship that gto me into reading the book immediately after seeing FotR in theatre, spring 2002. Of the characters individually, I love Pippin clearly the most of all. <3

Favorite of the films is The Fellowship of the Ring, simply because it works the best even with all the changes that were made. And it just somehow has the best atmosphere.

But I'm still in awe of how quality adaptations and movies over-all they were capable of making in just some three years. Of course the production, script writing and all began much earlier but still, three just about at once and with that quality, is amazing. I personally sense perfectly from the films, how much the script writers, the director and the actors loved the story and the characters. I LOVE THOSE FILMS!

But of course, I prefer the book over the films.
