This character is a tribute to the character in "Mulan". He's pretty much the same character in the form of an anthro Snow leopard.

Personality: Ruthless, aggressive, cunning

Description: Tall, muscular

Bio: Shan-Yu is the most feared warlord in all of China. He is the husband of Xuan Wu, the biological father of Su Wu, Wing Wu and Wan Wu and the adopted father of Yong Wu. He has made dozens of conquests across China and is extremely powerful. However, he does have a soft spot for his wife and children (this is the only obvious difference between him and his namesake).

ok, does the Wu family appear in your AU kung fu panda story?

I haven't decided yet. The short movie shows that Su Wu and her sisters were captured by Croc, Ox and Rhino when they were young adults but never says what happens to them after that.
