Plot: Shortly after the Bush Plane had been defeated in the race, things seem to finally be going great for Nome. There is little to no problems with disease, food is prosperous and the sled dogs are all kept around, even though the need for them is dwindling. It was when nobody could go through the forest anymore that problems began to erupt. A pack of wolves had just entered the forests near Nome, and nobody can get through without being attacked or chased out. One might say, the wolves were intentionally doing this or rather just defending their territory. Meanwhile, a young wolf dog named Tatkret, or just Kret for short stumbles within Nome. Of course, not many take well to him except Balto and his family. The problem with the wolves grows more serious because the alternate routes to get supplies from the other villages are far too dangerous and too much work for the new snow mobiles and other forms of transportation. Balto plans on meeting up with the wolf pack and wishes to plead them to allow supplies to come through. Of course, they reject his offer and now it is revealed that Kret used to be from the pack and knows the forests better than most of the dogs in Nome. He is asked to help Balto and his sled team to find a new route that wouldn't pass off into the wolf territory, which he denies at first but obliges to afterwards. The story will get spicier from there from events like vicious bear attacks, to the wolves trying to stop them from finding routes. The real mystery is, why don't the wolves want the villagers to obtain supplies? Read to find out!
