My name is Jo, I'm 31 years old and I have been a fan of TLK ever since I saw the movie in the theater.
I was 16 years old at the time.
I also remember standing in line for over an hour at the videostore to pick up my copy of TLK on video.
After I reserved mine weeks before!
Over the years I have made several TLK story books myself, basically because I'm usually disappointed with the available books. The pictures are wrong, wrong colours are used, parts of the story are changed or even left out all together! So, I decided to make my own.
Right now, I'm working on my fourth or fifth version, which will hopefully be my ultimate version. But I love doing this so much I might do another after this.

I use coloring pages and drawings I made from screenshots. (I'm a pretty decent artist but I can't draw TLK characters well enough. If you'd like to see some of my non-TLK art: parabuteo78.deviantart.com).
During my search for coloring pages to use, I have collected hundreds of different coloring pages. I have uploaded most of them on a website: lionkingcoloring.fotopic.net I'm always looking for new ones to add, so if you have any which aren't on the website please consider either posting them here or sending them to me.
I use the script as a guideline to write the text, but I don't follow it strictly. I do like to keep the dialogue as it was in the movie.
I had several scans of my previous books available but sadly due to a recent catastrophic computer crash I lost all of my files

My laptop is having a new HD installed and when that's finished I can hook up my scanner again and show some scans if someone is interested?
I don't have my older storybooks anymore, I don't what happened to them either. But I could show scans of the work-in-progress of my newest.
