Hi everybody, I'm a newbie.

I was attracted to this site because a.) I love TLK, and b.) because I really love how the art portion of the site is set up (kudos to the programmer(s)/designer)! I'm glad there are still active TLK forums around. I grew up with the series and remember when TLK II came out ... I distinctly remember the Disney channel showing clips from the songs as 'teasers' for the movie, and drew a ton of Nuka (his 'original' form!) and Kovu in particular.

Nowadays, I love doing fanart and am interested in telling stories of canon and sub-canon characters through art ... it's a lot of fun, and I love the TLK style.

How you found us: I was looking for certain topics about TLK and I kept running into this site whenever I would make my searches. I decided that I might as well join. I don't know that many people who like TLK so why not talk to people online?
Your history with TLK: Saw it in the movies with my dad. It was a Sunday. Thus started a lifelong obsession. I made fanart, reenacted scenes, etc. Even when TLK was on the backburner of my mind it never left.
What you hope to find here: I hope to get to know a lot of you. I have other fandoms but decided to give one of my oldest ones a chance and actually submerge myself in a community. I have been VERY active in other fandoms/fora and decided to start with TLK.

Hello! if you're all out there, I'm another newbie.

Due to my random username... you can call me Moo, I guess (if there are any other Moo's... let me know!). I am nearly 24 - so an original fan! I found this forum through a link on another forum the other day. I was surprised to find a TLK forum that is actually posted in regularly (or at least, has quite a few 2012 postings).

As an original fan I have had TLK in my life for most of my life. The memories of it are very important to me and I'd like to continue to show my appreciation in some way. I used to have a looot of merchandise, although it has thinned a tad over the years (if only I'd kept so and so...), but I do still collect the soft toys from time to time, so quite a nice collection there.

In each forum I will post that I'd love to make friends of sorts with like-minded people, but it sadly doesn't always happen. But I am ever keen to know new, friendly people if it does happen.

I hope someone reads this. (Apologies for over-use of these TLK smilies - they are rather novel!)
