Call me Kojo, I guess.
The Lion King WAS my childhood. Like, I have vivid memories of reenacting scenes from it with my father over and over. I used to take the lid off of the toybox, prop it up against the bed and pretend it was the cliff Mufasa falls off of. Mom says there was actually a time in my early childhood when I would refuse to walk on two legs and tried to pounce on everything. I wore a Simba costume at Disney World on Halloween when I was 8 and I got SO frustrated when everyone kept saying I was Nala. I was SIMBA, dangit, SIMBA! Girls can be Simba too!
When I was 13 my mother and I went on a trip to London, England. The first thing we did when we got there was see The Lion King at the West End. Kick-butt show!
Anywhoo, I'll be 18 in two months and I just graduated from high school three days ago. And I start college in the fall. So this is kind of neat time in my life right now.
But I'm actually a really boring person. I generally spend my time alternating between catching up on episodes of House and listening to various Lion King soundtracks on my iPod (I have Hakuna Matata in 6 different languages. XD That might be a little obsessive.)
There's not much else to it, really.
